PUMP STATIONS SERVICES

Positive Impact of Water Features

30 Years of Pump Station Services

H2ology has over 30 years of servicing pump stations, which includes: above ground, above ground with wet well, below ground, and below ground with wet well. Each type of pump station is unique, requiring the right knowledge to service and repair them correctly so they can perform optimally. We also have capabilities for installing new systems from the designing and building them.

Above Ground Pump Station

The above ground pump station is typically less expensive than the other types, often characterized by pump seal failure because it frequently runs dry before priming. It is important to maintain the check valves and foot valves which keep the pump primed so the steels remain lubricated during startup.

Above Ground, Wet Well Station

Above ground, wet well stations are mostly found in golf courses, supplying irrigation water to grow grass. They often employ turbine pumps which generate high volume and pressure to meet the demands of various zones at one time.

Below Ground Pump Station

Below ground stations allow pumps to remain primed because the reservoir creates static pressure that floods their volutes with water. They’re also quiet, allowing them to be placed next to residential areas.

Below Ground, Wet Well Station

Below ground, wet well stations commonly function with lakes that are located in a valley, especially when they run water to an elevated waterfall. They mostly use turbine pumps which generate high-volume, low-pressure water.

Sump-Pump Station

Sump-pump stations are practically noiseless because they sit in water, which muffles their sound. They run cooler than all pumps because water keeps their temperature low. They are typically used in small to medium sized water features where silence is required and water ambience is important.
